Check out the date..it's already March! And I haven't posted for a long time. February was a whirlwind....War Hero was still at school in Pennsylvania and we took advantage of my no kid weekends for several trips. One weekend we met in Columbus, Ohio. Nothing exciting there but we enjoyed the time together. I then got the flu and strep at the same time and didn't leave my bed for 5 days - it wasn't pretty. However, for our anniversary we met in New York City..it was a trip of lifetime and we had a good time. We used the subway and covered everything I wanted to see except for the Metropolitan Museum of Art and I could have done a little bit more shopping. We also elected to not go to a play as they are expensive and I knew my manly Army man wouldn't be to into it.
I'm ready for Spring...I do like winter but this one has been extremely long. In the next month or so, we will be shopping for a motorcycle, we are getting a touring one that is comfy for me to ride on - Mr. Ninja is not comfortable for an old lady like me. Also, track season will be starting as well for hunting boy. My dad is in the middle of redoing a bathroom, and we are going to start planning for a huge kitchen remodel. War Hero also will not be gone for long stretches of time, only two weeks at a time for a total of maybe six weeks????

It's about time! I had almost given up on you. I miss you! I'm so glad it is March. One more month off the calendar.
